Jobbet litt med powerpoint presentasjoner i det siste. Siden jeg ikke er tøff nok til å ha meg egen bærbar laptop på jobb så er Sildeshare et godt alternativ. Minnepinner og cd'er er for pyser! (mener iallefall jeg) Fant et ypperlig web-hotell/nettsamfunn for mine poerpoint-presentasjoner.

Hvorfor ikke dele?.. og finne ut hvordan andre synliggjør viktige poeng? Sjekk opp mitt siste bidrag som jeg skal bruke på folkevalgtopplæring på fredag direkte fra Slideshare. Du trenger ikke å være bruker, laste opp intil 30 MB pr presentasjon og sette begrensninger hvis du vil ha private presentasjoner liggende. Smart hva?

Ripping cd's for your cellarphone?

Tucows is allways the right place to start! E. g. as Finding programs for transforming files into mp3 format. And the free downloaded Audiograbber is probably the easiest way for transforming heawy cd-files to small mp3-files.

Why not ripp from Windows MediaPlayer? It's easy yeah! But still on the free version, you've got a song sized 20 MB! With Mp3 format you've got a normal song on 1,5 MB. You can realy send 6-7 songs on Yahoo mail (max 10 MB-limit pr mail).. and you can even afford to storage som tunes on your cellar-phone.

Bluetooth programs, makes it easy obtaining direct contact with laptops. Nokia has made a nice program who allso works for PC users. Your fantasy is the only limit.

Skal du rippe hele cd samlinga di og ha den på PC, Laptop, mobil, eller mp3-spilleren din? Så er svaret å kompriomere til mp3-format. Data-nerdene velger Tucows når de skal finne løsninger! Greit nok å rippe cd'en direkte fra Windows Media-Player og ha disse liggende som store filer wmpcd-format, hvis du har flere Gigabytes ledig? (en normal rockelåt på 3 min tilsvarer ca 20MB). Men straks du skal begynne å bruke filene litt mer intelligent, slik som å flytte via Bluetooth fra pc/laptop til mobil, sende via mail eller å ha liggende på gamle mp3-spillere, så må du ned i mp3 format der en sang kan lagres med 1,5MB. Audiograbber er det beste alternativet for deg som vil ha et mer intelligent forhold til cd samlingen din. Lastes her. Din side data har også vurdert Audiograbber. Audiograbber er også et bra alternativ for studio-musikeren som skal rippe rett fra mikrofon!

AirSet - sorting out several lifes at once!

WOW what a useful tool from AirSet. Forget Outlook or Google-calendar. I was looking for a program who made a to-way communication between the latter calendars. My Co-workers are joyful Outlook-slaves. But no one has so far made it as a sheared calendar for all co-workers (Thanks). I've found AirSet and I can't see why any team, organization, school-class can organize their members without this free program!

Nyttig gratis programvare fra AirSet. Skal du dele livet med andre og trenger en måte å organisere alle dine liv på? AirSet er løsningen. Enklere og morsommere kan det ikke gjøres. Noen problemer gjenstår ennå å prøves, med norsk tekst (æ,ø,å i Outlook-menyen) for å kunne overføre tekst fra en gammel Google/Outlook-calender) slik at all tekst kommer med og ikke bare 'busy'.

Easier for you to find out whats behind the links. Snap tool tells you at once whats in the linked page. Get it here. Not so difficult in blogger. Go in to template and add the in the html immediately before 'left-arrow slash and head'. Snap is allso a fast search engine for pictures and webpages. You don't have to open all pages to find out what's you're looking for.

Not so easy to install in my Norwegian Opera blog. Any hint?

Remember my first work station a MS OS/2.30.1 shared with co worker in Utsira Municipal in 1992, my first DIR-trips in DOS, my fist SOSI formatted map at TDH in Bø in 1987 and so on (SOSI hasn't changed a lot since? compared with other stuff).

Opera a lot more than a web-reader

Snapshot of my opera-page in Opera-view. Opera involves more than just a web-reader it's a whole community. With own blogs, photo pages and so on. Download opera
I'm impressed but can't cut the wire to Mozilla Firefox yet.
Like and Dislikes:

It's fast and yesterdays pages are fast up and down in one click. Magic stick arranges all passwords. You get a free blog, free photopage, and a link out to other opera members. (moust people nowdays has a Blogger, Flicker, and/or a Google account - Operea can be all in one) , and it's a Norwegian product!

Cant' open my Google calendar and not so helpful in general in Google-society, such as picasa pictures direct to this Blogger blog. In Plone (my web-publisher) opera does not show my kupu-editor or the FCK editor in the older 2.1 plone version. But still it's very interesting. And probably first choice if I had a laptop?

Best tool for a planning ingeneer. It's ideal for brainstorming, sorting out huge data announts and a platform before the large office document. In the free ver. you can rotate freely, numberise and export to html, copy and past in an office document.. wola you've got an indexed draft to use in Word or other Office tools. Mind mapping is an old tradition fist known by Porphyry (greek philosopher).

I use it a lot and it's highly recomended by me! Winsnap photo is taken from first draft of ITplan in Utsira Municipal.

At least I solved the squear format problem in picasa. My favorite picture editor picasa don't support 100% square croping tools!

Actually it's the preinstalled Jasc Paint Shop Poto Album 4.0 deliverered on my Dell. Where I can crop squares in open view. Still Picasa is the Best!

Winsnap a handy tool

Winsnap is good indeed for use in helpforums. In terms of managing and education of newcommers on the inhabitants portal. Utsira Municipal sites www.utsira.no are devided in three different PLONE portals. One official, a tourist portal and one for the inhabitants of Utsira.

The ultimate tool thoug is PLONE.

Faster frontpage on the municipal web

Added new frontpage on the municipal frontpage today. = added on Utsira Kommune In order to get a higer score on 'Kvalitet 2006' Quality in Norwegian official webpages. Previous page was heavy on 400kb nowdays pages on your cellarphone get slow to start over 9 kb. I managed to get the frontpage down to 20 kb! Im pleased and the off. Judgement will probably be publiced on norge.no on the 1'st of Desember.
